Suka at Sanderson

London, UK

The ultimate expression of culinary sophistication.

Set on the ground floor of Sanderson, the lavish 'urban-spa' oasis which blends extravagance and simplicity, Suka serves up modern authentic Malaysian cuisine, prepared with a European sensibility. Designed by the renowned architect and designer India Mahdavi, Suka encompasses the 'hidden' space following the Long Bar as well as the entire Garden Terrace. The dramatic space has a relaxed and casual ethos, while still capturing the wit, irony and elegance of the award-winning hotel.

Cuisine

For a limited time only, Suka at Sanderson has launched an authentic ‘pop-up’ street-food menu that captures the energy and flavours of the Malay street-food scene—providing a culinary journey through the street-food capitals of Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Tawau,

Highlights include Nasi Lemak, a traditional staple consisting of coconut rice, sambal, crispy anchovies, fried tofu, egg and cucumber salad; Itik Wonton Soup, a Chinese influenced soup with duck dumplings, shiitake mushrooms, spring onions and baby bok choy in a tasty duck broth; the Char Kway Teow, a popular fried flat rice noodle dish accompanied with bean sprouts, garlic chives and choice of prawn or beef; or for those with a taste for spicy, the Portuguese influenced Kapitan Kambing with lamb, coconut curry and baby potatoes is sure to appease.
